CASS {A LITTLE BIT OF FILM}
26 CommentsI finally had a chance to process a few rolls of film from the last couple months, and I just had to share these as soon as possible. I love, love, love shooting film and I can’t wait to more fully integrate it into my wedding work. I hope you enjoy them.

TEDxSydney
12 CommentsI had the awesome privilege of shooting TEDxSydney this year with a few other photogs and a photo of mine was featured in The Age and Sydney Morning Herald, which was ridiculously exciting. But while shooting it was indeed exciting it was seeing and listening to all the speakers that was truly wonderful. It all seems like a wonderful jumble of theories, discussions and thoughts that I dare say will be inspiring me in the months to come. I really do wish it was a bi-annual event, because I can barely wait for the next one!
The highlight for me had to be Paul Kelly, I’ve been a huge Paul Kelly fan since…well…for as long as I can remember. So getting to hear his story, hearing him sing and actually being there to photograph him was amazing. I can honestly say that I found it difficult to concentrate on the photographing while he was singing.
I could really go on and on about TED and the wonderful role that it plays in educating, inspiring and illuminating with their seminars and website, but I’ll just leave you to enjoy the photos from the day and please check out both the site for TEDxSydney and TED. I dare you not to get lost in their talks and not to come out of the site inspired and wanting to help make the world a better place.

CASS {A PORTRAIT}
22 CommentsThe light in Echuca was just awesome, glorious even. I think I could have sat in that field all day, and just taken it in. The sound, the smell, it’s not something that I will soon forget.
With Marlene, her grandmother’s name, tattooed on her arm and wearing the dress that her grandmother was married in, Cass made a stunning subject.
Thank you, Cass, for running through tall grass and being so amazing. Thank you to everyone else who was there and thank you Echuca for that glorious light!
