1. I AM UNIQUE {Melbourne 2011}

    If I could tell stories in words, I wouldn’t need to lug around a camera. – Lewis Hine

    Most of the time when I look back on holiday photos I feel almost like a ghost traveling through the landscape, so it was nice to finally have a photo of the both Nick and I IN the landscape. I think it comes from being a photographer and carrying a hunking film camera that means we can’t take those touristy photos of ourselves. So on our last trip to Melbourne I decided to take a couple portraits of the two of us.

    For those that don’t know Nick is my other half. He makes sure that the web side of I Love Wednesdays runs smoothly, builds all my crazy web designs/portfolios and generally makes sure that I keep sane.

  2. GHOST TOWN {WPPI}

    I’m not really sure whether the title Ghost Town is really deserved for this little spot just outside of Vegas, because it’s turned into somewhat of a tourist attraction/photographer and director haunt. In fact, while we were there, there was a band photo shoot taking place, I’m honestly not sure what band it was, but they had their boy band poses down to a t.

    I love all the knick knacks, animal heads and random ephemera around the place and it was nice to slowly saunter around the place looking at all the things they’ve accumulated over the years. Everything just had so much character and the things were obviously built to last which was lovely to see.

    I think I could’ve spent a week there just going through everything, but was happy to have had the hour or so to go through it all. Here are some of my favourite piccies. Hope you enjoy.

  3. GOODBYE 2010

    2010 was a crazy year and one filled with fabulous clients, finding fun new friends and a lot of work. I was going to do a year in review, but I’m rather focused on 2011, the re-branding of I Love Wednesdays and beyond! 2010 seemed like a blur of a year to me anyway, I hope to be able to more wholly appreciate 2011 and hope time slows done a little for me, I’ve got too much stuff to do!

    What I will leave you with instead, is possibly my favourite photo from 2010 and one that is very close to my heart. A photo of my eldest nephew, Nemanja, at a family dinner just before Christmas last year. It perfectly demonstrates why I never leave home without my camera, you never know when those moments might strike and I will ALWAYS be prepared to catch them.

    xoxo
